Tissenbach thread mills are manufactured from Tissenbach carbide rod, produced by our facility in Istanbul, Turkey for Tissenbach’s carbide tooling. Tissenbach’s R & D facilities have developed carbide grades specifically for the demands of high performance milling, which provides Tissenbach with a competitive advantage versus tooling manufacturers who purchase carbide rod from multiple sources.
